The Chen Institute Symposium for AI Advancing Science & Society (AIAS+) offers both one-day and three-day registration passes. Each pass includes admission to technical sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions scheduled for the selected day(s), along with networking opportunities, access to conference materials, and daily meals. Depending on the pass selected, attendees will have access to specific talks and special events.

AIAS+ is committed to expanding access and fostering a more diverse community by offering travel grants. Individuals facing financial, personal, or other barriers to attending may be eligible to apply for a registration fee waiver, subject to qualification criteria. Industry registration is intended for attendees participating from corporate, startup, investment, or commercial organizations.
Academic registration is available to faculty, researchers, postdoctoral scholars, and staff affiliated with universities, research institutes, and nonprofit research organizations.
Student registration is available to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.
To qualify for the student registration rate, attendees may be asked to provide proof of current student status through the registration system before completing registration. Acceptable forms include:

To request a refund, please send an email to email@email.org. Any cancellation will incur a fee of USD 50.00 if processed before October 5, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST. Cancellations made after this deadline may only qualify for a refund under extraordinary conditions. Please note that inability to secure a travel visa does not qualify for a refund. The name on the registration can be changed without penalty.

Preregistration is required prior to arrival onsite by registering online. Attendees may register at the onsite rate up until or during the conference, but all registrations must be completed through the official registration system.
All attendees must pick up their badges onsite for admittance to conference programs.

However, the Conference and its representatives may need to change arrangements, schedules, plans, or other details without prior notification due to unforeseen reasons beyond our control. Neither the Organizing Committee nor the Conference Organizers will be held responsible for any losses or inconvenience resulting from these changes. Additionally, we will not be accountable for any financial losses due to delays or unforeseen circumstances. Attendees are encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance that also covers personal belongings. The Conference will not compensate for cancellations, theft, or damage to personal items.
